TASHKENT REKLAMA / INTERNATIONAL PROJECT

A country.
A world of stories.

World Influencers Congress brought creators, ideas and Uzbekistan together. Our team contributed to the project; the original presentations reveal the thinking behind it.

World Influencers Congress — original presentation

01 / The ambition

Put Uzbekistan
into the conversation.

The brief identified two challenges: limited international awareness and a shortage of quality content showing the country’s tourism potential. The concept connected tourism, country branding and digital storytelling through the people audiences already follow.

The congress was designed as a platform for exchanging ideas, techniques and best practices — and a first step towards a Global Influencers Network.

Agency participation: confirmed by the owner.

02 / The programme

More than a conference.

22 AUG

Welcome Dinner

An introduction to Uzbekistan through food, music and national performance. A setting for the first connections between guests.

23 AUG

Conference & Keynotes

Conversations about content creation, digital platforms, audience engagement and the future of country branding.

23 AUG

Business to Influencers

B2I meetings: a dedicated format connecting brands and creators around potential collaborations.

23 AUG

A closing evening and awards ceremony, included in the original congress programme.

24–27 AUG

Oriental Express

The presentation’s travel programme featured Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent — extending the congress into encounters with the country’s culture.

Where business
meets influence.

The B2I format was designed to help businesses and creators understand each other, explore partnership opportunities and establish direct conversations. The accompanying Russian brief places this within country marketing, PR, tourism and territorial branding.

04 / The thinking behind the experience

Built for stories
that keep travelling.

Rather than a single advertising impression, the brief proposed content that audiences could discover, share and return to. The intended core audience was 18–35-year-olds, as described in the planning document.

SAMARKAND / 26 AUGUST 2019

A meeting with
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During their visit to Samarkand, WIC participants met President Shavkat Mirziyoyev ahead of the opening of the Sharq Taronalari music festival. He spoke about openness, the role of bloggers and sharing Uzbekistan’s culture and heritage with the world. The meeting ended with a group photograph.

This was a meeting in Samarkand during the participants’ trip, not a presidential speech at the WIC opening in Tashkent.
